Why is my API request causing a 403 error code to be returned?

1. Introduction

When using API service (SOAP or REST), I get an error code '403' after submittal of my request.

 

2. Detailed explanation


There are several reasons that may cause this error to be returned.

Check the ones hereunder and the proposed solution :


  • External IP address of your machine not declared in the Access Control List

à Please provide us with an external IP address so that we can whitelist it


  • IP required to be added in the Access Control List but the latter update is on-going

à Please wait for the update which may take some time

à You may open/reopen a ticket if this still not working in days following a validated whitelisting request
